Initially, the candidate has to create an ETS account, while creating an ETS account you have to enter personal details like address, phone numbers, and communication preferences but you should pay attention while filling your birthdate and name. The details you provide should match with the ID proof details that you bring on the test day. Once you finish creating the account, you should enter your login credentials i.e username and password. As you enter the login details along with a security question, your ETS account will get created. The applicants can log in into this ETS account to know the information regarding test and its prep etc. After creating a GRE account, you have to register for the GRE test by selecting the test type, that you want to give, it can be either GRE general test or subject test. In your next step, you have to select the test dates and the test center location of your preference. You can choose from the list of test centers they provide.
Later that candidates have to select from possible test dates which are in green color and once as you click on the test date of your choice, it will show you the test centers available on that date along with the routes to the test centers. Besides to this, the candidates can also select the best test times on the test day of their choice. So, as you surpass all these steps, you can click on the "Register" button.
The click the register button will take you to the page where you can see all your personal details, those you've entered at the start. Hence, you can cross check your details and make amendments if any.
